We analyzed top CDCP dentists and this is how they compare

We compared 32 practice websites on how well they explain CDCP. Only three cover all seven things patients need to know.

Plenty of practices say they accept CDCP, but accepting it and explaining it are different things. We sampled 32 practice websites across four provinces and checked each one for seven things a good CDCP dentist should explain. Only three practices covered all seven, and Morgan Heights Dental Centre is one of them.

What we checked, and how many practices explained it

  • Clearly say they accept CDCP: 30 of 32
  • Bill Sun Life directly: 14 of 32
  • Explain who qualifies: 22 of 32
  • Explain CDCP may not cover the whole bill: 23 of 32
  • Promise your cost before treatment: 11 of 32
  • Explain how CDCP and private insurance fit together: 17 of 32
  • Welcome new patients: 18 of 32

How CDCP works at our South Surrey dentist

At Morgan Heights, we bill Sun Life for you, so you pay only your portion with no claim forms. The Government of Canada decides who qualifies, and we show you where to confirm your eligibility. Your share depends on family income:

  • Under $70,000: you pay 0%, and CDCP covers its full fee
  • $70,000 to $79,999: you pay 40%
  • $80,000 to $89,999: you pay 60%

There are two fee guides, so the difference between them is your portion. We explain it and give you your cost before treatment begins. You usually can't have both CDCP and private insurance, and we can walk you through how they fit. See our page on dental insurance and CDCP coverage for more.

New patients are welcome

We offer Tuesday evenings, Saturdays and free parking. Find out what to expect on our new patient information page, or Call 604-535-8835 and we'll explain it all. You can also book at morganheightsdental.com.
