South Surrey Dentist FAQs: Parking, Insurance, and First Visits
localdentistry
Common questions from White Rock and South Surrey patients about parking, direct billing, Saturday hours, and what to expect at a first appointment.
New-patient questions tend to repeat. Here are the ones we hear most often from folks considering the drive from White Rock or elsewhere in South Surrey.
Is parking really free?
Yes. We have a dedicated on-site lot at Morgan Heights — no meters, no time limits, no circling the block.
Do you offer direct billing to insurance?
For most major Canadian dental plans, yes. Bring your card to your first visit and we'll submit the claim; you only pay the portion your plan doesn't cover.
Are Saturday appointments available?
Saturdays are offered for many services, including cleanings and some restorative work. Sedation and surgical appointments are usually weekdays.
How long is a first visit?
Plan for about 60–75 minutes: exam, x-rays if needed, a cleaning when time allows, and a conversation about any concerns. See new patient information for the full checklist.
Do you treat dental anxiety?
Yes — options range from nitrous oxide to oral sedation. Our sedation dentistry guide covers each option.
Can you handle emergencies the same day?
We keep daily slots open for pain, broken teeth, and lost crowns. Call first thing in the morning for the best chance of a same-day spot.
Do you see kids?
Yes — we're a family practice. Details on our family dentistry page.
