How long does a root canal take?
Most single-tooth root canals take 60–90 minutes. Molars with more canals or complicated anatomy may run longer or be split across two visits.
How many appointments will I need?
Many root canals are completed in one visit. A second visit is sometimes needed if there's significant infection that benefits from medication between appointments, or if a crown is being placed separately.
Does dental insurance cover root canals?
Most dental plans cover a portion of root canal therapy under basic or major services. Coverage percentages and annual maximums vary — we can help you check your benefits before treatment.
What does a root canal cost?

Can I drive myself home afterward?

Infection doesn't resolve on its own and can spread. Delaying often turns a routine root canal into an extraction.
