Ever wonder how a digital scan of your teeth turns into a model you can actually hold? At our South Surrey practice, every 3D print follows the same six steps, and each one gets a careful check by our team before it's used in your care.
- Scan — we capture your teeth with a digital impression instead of goopy trays.
- Design — the scan is shaped into the exact model, guide, or appliance we need.
- Print — light hardens liquid resin one thin layer at a time, stacking upside down out of the resin tank until the full shape is built.
- Wash — a timed rinse clears away any leftover resin.
- Cure — a light cure sets the model's final strength.
- Finish and check — thin support struts are trimmed off, labels like "LowerJaw" help us keep parts straight, and our team inspects the result before it touches your treatment.
