Answers to the most common smile makeover questions we hear in South Surrey — cost, timeline, pain, and longevity.

Most people come in with the same handful of questions before committing to a smile makeover. Here are straight answers.

How much does a smile makeover cost?

It depends on which treatments you need. A whitening-and-bonding refresh is very different from a full plan involving implants and veneers. We provide a written estimate after your assessment so there are no surprises.

How long does it take?

Simple cases (whitening plus a few veneers) can wrap up in a few weeks. If dental implants are part of the plan, expect several months to allow for healing.

Does it hurt?

Most steps are done with local anesthetic and feel similar to a routine filling. For anxious patients, we offer sedation options.

Can I just whiten my teeth instead?

Sometimes yes. If your teeth are healthy and well-shaped, Zoom whitening alone may be all you need. We'll tell you honestly at the assessment.

How long do the results last?

Veneers and crowns typically last 10–15+ years with good care. Whitening usually needs occasional top-ups. Implants are designed to be a long-term replacement.

Will my insurance cover any of it?

Cosmetic work usually isn't covered, but restorative portions (crowns, implants) often are in part. We'll help you check.
